I really like this video. It represents the view of what feminism is and who one is. It seems that people are caught up with the negative connotations of the word feminism. They think that they are all 'man-haters' and believe that women should be above all others. I talked to my mother the other day and she coined me as a feminist and was almost upset because I mentioned that women should be able to have the choice of whether or not to have an abortion. I told her what the true definition of a feminist was but she brushed it off and still believes the negative views that come along with the label of a feminist. Maybe after showing her this clip she and hopefully others will change their minds.

This is a great video. It shows people how being a feminist has absolutely nothing wrong about it and in fact can be empowering to any individual. It shows how feminists are not only women but men can be feminists too. I feel that many people still don’t understand this. I feel that most people still have a cliché on feminists; seeing them as bitchy hairy women. This video sends out a strong message using celebrities both males and females. I think that when they showed the men saying “I am a feminist” was really powerful and sent out a clear message.
